A short video was published yesterday in which Prof. Dr. Jeroen van den Hoven speaks about design for values, responsible innovation and governments as ‘launching customers’ for realizing a good information society (the interview is in Dutch, but English subtitles are available). He believes that there are many opportunities in this area for both the Netherlands and Europe.

The interview is part of the Dutch MOOC ‘Digitalization Matters’, which started on 15 January 2019 and has been made possible by the Information Society and Government Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Jeroen van den Hoven is professor of ethics and technology at Delft University of Technology and scientific director of the Delft Design for Values Institute.
